Plans for an underwater tennis stadium off the coast of Dubai were presented in 2015 for the project. Over the course of time, the Middle East has seen a lot of crazy projects. We will examine the fates of some of the most extraordinary and colorful proposals as part of our summer series.

The primary undertaking, which stood out as truly newsworthy back in April 2015, was a proposition to fabricate a submerged tennis arena off the Dubai coast.

Krzysztof Kotala, a Polish architect who owns the 8+8 Concept Studio in Warsaw and holds a Master of Science in Architecture from Kraków Polytechnic, presented the plans.

He finished beginning plans for the aggressive venture, yet conceded he had not gained a lot of headway in drawing in financial backers or acquiring official endorsements from Dubai specialists.

Seven arenas were proposed, each with a dome made of carbon-glass and glazing above the court. The dome would be in a reef off the coast of Dubai, near the famous Burj al Arab hotel.

Kotala said he accepted the thought areas of strength for had potential and would join the best of "innovation, biology and game."

Plans went calm until Kotala told Middle Eastern Business in January 2016 he was in chats with possible supporters in the US to make the venture a reality and he was chipping away at the last plans for the idea. " He acknowledged that this procedure takes a few months.

Once more, things went calm. Middle Eastern Business reached Kotala in May this year and he said he had made a site and a Youtube video to assist with creating revenue in the undertaking yet he conceded he actually had "no cash to fabricate it" and may hope to foster a more modest field first. He said he was expecting to attempt to scrounge up subsidizing in Cannes this mid year to assist with funding his submerged dream.
